One of the best places I have ever set foot in for brisket. The BBQ Po' Boy simply melts in your mouth and the hand cut fries are delicious as well. The staff is very friendly and the wait time was less than 10 minutes for an order that feeds 4 people. I highly recommend it!

I had to try this Brisket Reuben, and it did not disappoint. The Habanero sauce is also good and spicy. It was maybe a little expensive for a sandwich, but you get a HUGE chunk of Brisket on there so I think it was worth it. I wasn't wowed by the Whiskey Sweet Sauce, but they have 4 options (I only grabbed 3) so one will sate your taste buds. The fries are also pretty good, and they have Malt Vinegar on the tables for them. Also there is a Barnes & Noble next door, so you can feast and then walk around the bookstore for awhile. Just don't get any BBQ stains on the books!

4th of July Lunch. They were already sold out of brisket, chicken and ribs - no doubt it was fantastic. We opted for the Smokehouse Salad with pulled pork, pulled pork sandwich, pork nachos, mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. All items were excellent and so much left over we have dinner and lunch tomorrow covered.

I’ve been here 8-10 times and I have yet to be disappointed. I love pulled pork and this is some of the best I’ve had in Virginia. The staff is incredibly friendly to go along with the great service! I usually get a pulled pork platter but the last few times I’ve gone here I have ordered the Cajun Chopped Salad (pork on the side) and it’s fantastic. The dressing is pretty spicy so it won’t be for everybody but I love it! Next time you’re in the area and looking for bbq I highly recommend stopping in!

OMG! Phenomenal BBQ!! We discovered The Bone while traveling through Virginia. Before you even reach the door you can smell the heavenly smell of BBQ. My husband ordered the Brisket Ruben, the brisket was so tender and flavorful. I had the pulled pork platter with Mac and cheese and greens. Everything was delicious, hot and seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant. The staff was super friendly. We will be back!!

Outstanding! It’s a great, honest BBQ place. The pulled chicken, brisket and pulled pork are consistently tender, flavorful and just great! The sides are always fresh and delicious. What’s even better??? The customer service. We pulled into their parking lot tonight as they were just closing… do you know they didn’t turn us away… they had a whole chicken left and some corn bread. After the day we had, it tasted like heaven with a little bbq sauce. Please, give this place a try, I promise you will not be sorry.
